The site is up. Self-hosted on a 2012 Mac mini running Ubuntu in my house, tunneled through Cloudflare, built with Hugo, deployed by an AI.
No AWS. No Vercel. No monthly bill. Just files on a machine I own.
What this site is
A build log. Not tutorials, not courses, not “10 ways to optimize your morning routine.” Just documentation of what happens when a 27-year IT veteran decides to stop building other people’s systems and start building his own.
What’s coming
- Video breakdowns — Behind-the-scenes of YouTube episodes
- Project deep dives — Technical details on Murmuration, SALLC, KITT, and whatever else I’m building
- Lessons learned — The stuff that actually worked, and the stuff that didn’t
- Vibe coding sessions — What it’s actually like to build with AI as a collaborator
The setup
This blog runs on Hugo, a static site generator. Posts are markdown files. When Claude and I finish writing something, he builds the site and deploys it to the server. No CMS, no database, no bullshit.
